CrackerJax in Scottsdale, Arizona is described as a Family Fun and Sports Park. It is smaller than your typical amusement park and lacks roller coasters or carnival-type mechanical dare-devil rides. This is a place where children, adults, and families can come for some outdoor, active fun.
Open all year long, CrackerJax is a great way to spend a few hours with the family or to work on golf or baseball swings. The miniature golf courses, bumper boats, and go-karts are particularly popular attractions. On a busy Saturday, visitors might have to wait in line. During the summer, CrackerJax offers a refreshing retreat from the hot, sunny days.
Activities for Kids and Families at CrackerJax
CrackerJax features activities for just about everyone, ages two and up:
- Go-Karts are driven on a course with hairpin curves, S-curves, and a banked track. A height restriction of 56″ applies for single-seaters; passengers must be at least 4 feet tall to ride in a double-seater.
- The smaller Jax Trax course is designed for young children (must be at least 3 feet tall) who can drive Indy-style racing karts.
- Bumper boats accommodate one adult and two children, and a driver must be 4 feet tall.
- Choose from two miniature golf courses; one designed for young kids and another for older ones and adults.
- The Bungy Dome allows participants to experience flight, with a maximum weight limit of 200 pounds.
Additionally, there is an indoor game center and a café available for snacks and beverages. CrackerJax also provides birthday party packages for groups of 8 or more, and even hosts company parties and group events for up to 2,000 guests.
Activities for Teens and Adults
Adults can enjoy many attractions at CrackerJax, including go-karts, the Bungy Dome, and bumper boats. Moreover, older teens and adults often frequent the batting cages, the putting course, or the shaded, multi-level golf driving range. If fun competition is on the agenda, consider reserving a volleyball court or arranging a Water Wars competition!
