Summary of Adventures in Jordan
After a full day of exploring Wadi Rum, we decided to unwind with some tea and music from the locals as we enjoyed a picturesque sunset.
We found a higher vantage point to enjoy views over the desert, soaking up the last rays of sunlight before settling down for tea.
It’s crucial to remember that you are in a desert; once the sun sets, the temperature drops dramatically.
This is precisely why a fire was needed—to keep warm while enjoying our tea.
Additionally, it served to boil water for our tea.
As night fell, we prepared to return to our accommodation at Memories Aicha Luxury Camp for dinner and to relax before our next adventure in Jordan.
The morning after, we were picked up again and traversed the desert to reach our pre-arranged car that would take us to Aqaba.
Aqaba was our intended endpoint, as it’s the city where we arrived in Jordan—it’s also the only coastal city in the country, famous for its stunning beaches beside the Red Sea.
Our focus in Aqaba was to fully embrace the relaxation it offers.
For this reason, we accepted a stay at Al Manara, a Luxury Collection Hotel, which was an excellent choice.
The accommodation was both spacious and scenic, right on the beach, making it effortless to unwind.
While in Aqaba, we didn’t engage in extensive explorations or snorkeling; instead, we predominantly enjoyed spa treatments followed by delightful dinners.
Our flight home was scheduled for the next morning, and we planned to leave Jordan feeling rejuvenated.
