Pandan Beach Nusa Penida

Pandan is actually the second of three beaches in a row, separated by hills that you need to hike to reach them:

To visit Pandan, you will have to pass through Crystal Beach.

On your way to Pandan, enjoy stunning views of the snorkeling boats anchored in Crystal Bay.

Crystal Bay in Nusa Penida Bali

Pandan is still a hidden gem as of 2024.

When I visited, there were over 100 people at Crystal Bay, but only 2 or 3 tourists relaxing at Pandan.

There’s a small drink shack near the entrance, but aside from that, the beach is yours to explore!

Entrance Fees

As of 2024, the entrance is completely free.

How To Get To Pandan Beach

Pandan Beach is located on the west side of Nusa Penida island.

You can easily reach it on foot from Crystal Bay, which is accessible by car or scooter with a small parking fee.

From Crystal Bay, walk south until you reach the end of the beach, where you will find a hidden path through the trees.

Where We Stayed

We chose to stay at Saren Villa on the north coast of Nusa Penida, paying 240k Rupiah ($15 USD) for a private double room featuring cold A/C, a hot shower, and reliable WiFi.

This option is one of the most affordable in Penida, conveniently located near the area’s best restaurants. We were quite satisfied with our stay.

Keep in mind that prices may vary; it’s wise to watch for good deals.
