Experience White Limozeen – A Dolly Parton Inspired Rooftop Escape in Nashville
Dolly Parton was recently lauded the ‘patron saint of 2020’ by Marie Claire magazine, and a newly opened Tennessee venue which pays homage to the music superstar is inclined to agree.
Located on the rooftop of the Graduate Nashville hotel, White Limozeen takes its cues from the pint-sized star in its entertaining approach. The pink-hued location, named after Parton’s 1989 studio album, opened its doors in the summer—after COVID-related delays pushed things back. While the coronavirus outbreak remains ongoing, fans have been admiring the ultra-Instagrammable venue since the news that Parton was involved in funding Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine.
“Dolly is and always will be an icon for many reasons. What she’s been able to do for her community this year—on both small and large scales—is nothing short of inspiring,” a spokesperson for the venue told iBestTravel News. The spokesperson elaborated, “White Limozeen was designed to transport guests to an over-the-top, indoor-outdoor rooftop destination that celebrates the uniquely Nashville identity of unapologetically following your dreams. It was named in honor of country music icon Dolly Parton, who embodies this spirit, and offers a fresh take on the finer things in life, with a menu that contrasts high-brow technique and luxury with comfortable and familiar tastes.”
The bar features a larger-than-life Dolly statue, crafted from pink chicken wire, which is positioned above contrasting black and white checkerboard flooring.
White Limozeen’s decor incorporates the overall theme of ‘making it big in Music City’. Expect a statement onyx wraparound, bold and bright pink walls alongside vintage fabrics and plush furniture, gilded accents, and sparkling chandeliers.
As the pandemic continues, the Nashville Metro Public Health department is encouraging all citizens to wear masks, avoid crowds and gatherings, give others extra space, and wash their hands frequently.
