There’s a new way to make a splash in Dubai. The Address Beach Resort features the highest outdoor infinity pool in a building, standing at an astonishing 964.2 feet high, as announced by Guinness World Records.
Infinity Pool Details
Situated on the hotel’s 77th floor, this impressive pool measures approximately 311 feet long and 54 feet wide, nearly doubling the size of an Olympic-sized pool.
Unmatched Views
From this unique vantage point, which is approximately nine-tenths the height of the Eiffel Tower, guests can enjoy sprawling city views, showcasing the iconic Burj Al Arab, the Palm Jumeirah, and the World Islands. The Ain Dubai Ferris wheel, which holds the title of the world’s tallest, is also visible from here.
“We are very honored to have received this accolade,” stated Mark Kirby of Emaar, the resort’s parent company. “The Guinness World Records titles positions Address Hotels and Resorts at the epitome of luxury and within bucket list destinations for travelers.”
More Than Just a Pool
The infinity pool is just one of several aquatic features at the Address Beach Resort. The property also includes an adults-only pool, a family pool, and a kids’ splash pad. While all hotel guests can access the facilities, the infinity pool is available for guests aged 21 and older. Adjacent to the pool, the Asian fusion restaurant Zeta Seventy Seven provides a breathtaking view.
A Record-Breaking Resort
This stunning infinity pool is not the only Guinness World Record the hotel holds. Address Beach Resort is part of a 77-story twin tower structure, connected from the first to the 13th floors, and features a skybridge from the 63rd to 77th floors, this skybridge is recognized as the highest occupiable skybridge, reaching 965.7 feet high.
Since its opening in December 2020, the Address Beach Resort has attracted visitors with its 217 guest rooms and suites, alongside 443 furnished residences and 478 unfurnished residences.
Just the Beginning
Moreover, another record-setting pool is set to debut in London later this month. According to CNN, this clear-bottomed oasis, suspended 115 feet in the air at the Embassy Gardens, will become the world’s largest freestanding acrylic pool structure when it opens on May 19.
