A travel website is offering someone from the US the opportunity to earn $1000 (€842) to watch nine movies. The successful candidate will look at scenery, themes, and characters to help Upgraded Points compare some of its favorite films that inspire wanderlust.
With a considerable portion of the world facing travel restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, watching movies set in stunning locations allows us to experience travel dreams through the eyes of the characters. Furthermore, the selected films are not only set in inspiring places but also narrate remarkable journeys. The successful reviewer will be required to take notes and pay close attention to specific details in each film. Therefore, a true passion for travel and exploration, coupled with a love for cinema, is essential for an ideal applicant.
The candidate will need an eye for detail to identify the best locations depicted in each movie. Additionally, they must possess active social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter and must be 18 years or older, as well as a US citizen or permanent resident to qualify for this opportunity. The movies included in this unique venture are Under the Tuscan Sun, Raiders of the Lost Ark, National Lampoon’s Vacation, Out of Africa, Catch Me If You Can, Midnight in Paris, The Italian Job (2003), Murder on the Orient Express (2017), and Eat, Pray, Love.
The successful candidate will receive a separate worksheet for each movie watched and will be required to document their binge-watching journey on Facebook and Twitter. Along with the $1000 payment, they will also be provided with an Amazon gift card to rent all of the movies on the list. The closing date for submissions is 4 December, and applications can be made on the website here.
