Review of the Beehive Hostel Rome
Check-in at the Beehive
Upon arrival, I received clear directions that made finding the hostel easy despite its somewhat tricky location. Situated just two blocks from Termini, the main train station in Rome, The Beehive boasts a vibrant sign on Via dei Mille, making it hard to miss.
My Room at the Beehive Rome
The Beehive offers four types of accommodations:
- Classic: Rooms with a shared bathroom;
- The Sweets: Rooms with private en-suites;
- The Hive: Dorm beds for a communal experience;
- Other Honey: Rooms with access to a shared kitchen.
I stayed in the Sweets. The spacious, bright room boasted a private en-suite, free fast Wi-Fi, and use of a shared kitchen equipped with essential appliances. Although it lacked a full kitchen, it was sufficient for simple meal preparations.

One of the main perks of the Beehive is its central location, making it easy to access various iconic landmarks, including the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Trevi Fountain, all just a 20-minute walk away.
Chill Out Areas at the Beehive

Vegetarian Menu at the Beehive
The Beehive features a vegetarian menu with various vegan options. They also offer organic wines and local beers throughout the day, greatly enhancing the dining experience For those looking to enhance their cooking skills, vegan and vegetarian cooking classes are also available.
