The Backstory
Elix is the latest addition to the MarBella trilogy, which translates to ‘beautiful sea’ in Italian. The original hotel opened in a quaint fishing village on Corfu in the late Sixties, fulfilling the dream of founder Vassilis Dracopoulos senior. After stepping back in the Seventies, the Dracopoulos family revitalized the brand at the turn of the century, leading to the development of the adults-only Nido in 2018 on the same island, and recently, MarBella Elix was introduced across the sea on the Greek mainland in 2021.
