However, the steep terrain includes rocks, tree roots, and slick patches, especially in spring and fall when ice can linger.
When navigating the trail, be mindful of your surroundings; hiking in proper footwear is essential. Although some attempt the hike in flip-flops, sturdy shoes are highly recommended.
