New Entry Rules for Fiji

As of May 1, the stunning island nation of Fiji will make traveling easier for vaccinated tourists by eliminating the need for pre-arrival COVID-19 testing. This change aims to simplify the entry process, allowing visitors to enjoy the renowned white-sand beaches and crystal-clear waters with less hassle.

Vaccination Requirements

All travelers aged 16 and older must be fully vaccinated to enter Fiji. Nevertheless, they will no longer be required to present proof of a negative PCR or antigen test prior to arrival.

Post-Arrival Testing

Upon arrival, vaccinated travelers must schedule a rapid antigen test to be taken between 48 and 72 hours after landing. It is also essential for visitors to have travel insurance that covers COVID-19-related incidents, ensuring safety during their trip.

Population Vaccination Rates

According to recent data, as of April 25, approximately 75.9% of Fiji’s population has received at least one dose of the vaccine, which reflects the country’s commitment to public health.

Through these updates, the Fijian government is encouraging travelers from around the world to explore their beautiful islands during a time when entry requirements are becoming more manageable. Make sure to take the necessary precautions, stay informed, and enjoy everything Fiji has to offer.
