WFPK’s Waterfront Wednesdays
Local radio station 91.9 WFPK sponsors this popular summer event. Music lovers can bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy free concerts along the Ohio River. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited, but attendees can enjoy non-alcoholic drinks and food provided by vendors at the event. Gates open at 5 p.m. For more information, call (502) 814-6518.
Westport Village Summer Concerts
Experience free summer concerts in the open air of Westport Village. Guests are welcome to set up chairs or dance while enjoying the music. Performances occur on Thursdays approximately once a month from 6 to 8 p.m. Keep an eye on Westport’s events page for the next date. Westport Village is located at 1315 Herr Lane.
Music on the Terrace at the Paddock Shops
During Thursday nights in summer, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., local bands perform live music. Additionally, there’s free face painting for children of all ages, along with promotional gifts for the first arrivals. For more details, check with the shopping center.
Cherokee Triangle Summer Concert Series
On Sunday nights throughout the summer, from 7 to 9 p.m., The Cherokee Triangle Association presents free concerts. Notably, the last concert of the season occurs on a Monday. Donations of canned goods or toiletries are encouraged for assistance to Highlands Community Ministries Dare to Care food bank. The concerts take place in Willow Park, at the intersection of Cherokee Parkway and Willow Avenue. Please note that alcohol, pets, and soliciting are not allowed.
Jeffersonville Main Street Concerts in the Park
Throughout summer, Jefferson Main Street and the Jeffersonville Parks of Indiana present free concerts in the park. Each performance is family-friendly and described as “a slice of Americana.” Bring a lawn chair and enjoy your favorite snacks while being entertained. Bicentennial Park Summer Concert Series
Join free Friday night concerts from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. throughout the summer, showcasing local talent in historic downtown New Albany Indiana’s Bicentennial Park. The park is situated at the corner of Spring Street and Pearl Street.
Fourth Street Live! Hot Country Nights
Every Friday night, Fourth Street Live! holds free country music shows starting at 7 p.m. Attendees must be over 21 or accompanied by a guardian, and after 9 p.m., all must be 21 and above. This concert series, sponsored by Jack Daniel’s and 97.5 WAMZ, offers a fantastic atmosphere for country music fans.
The Kentucky State Fair Free Concert Series
With paid admission to the Kentucky State Fair, various concerts are available at no additional charge. These performances occur in Cardinal Stadium starting at 8 p.m., with gates opening around 6:30 p.m. Additionally, the state fair features numerous attractions, including delicious fair food, family rides, local crafts, and animal exhibits.
