This location gained fame when he shot a viral video with two climbers enjoying a banana.“Rooftopping is like a getaway from city life to me,” says Lau. “In Hong Kong, with its fast-paced environment filled with pressure and noise, being on a rooftop slows everything down, allowing you to hear only the wind as the rush below turns into slow motion.”“I’ve never been scared of heights — height was never an obstacle for me. I didn’t aspire to be a daredevil,” Lau explains.Lau co-founded Exthetics in 2014 with Dex Ng and Lawrence Tsui to document their urban exploration experiences, focusing on abandoned buildings and rooftops.
