Achieve Frontier Airlines Elite Status Easily in 2025

Frontier Airlines Makes Elite Status Accessible for Frequent Travelers

Frontier Airlines has recently simplified the process for travelers seeking elite status in 2024. By collaborating with numerous airlines, hotels, and cruise lines, the low-cost airline now offers a status-matching program. Moreover, customers can directly purchase elite status, making it more accessible than ever.

Frontier Airlines Status Matching

Eligible travelers with status from 15 different airlines, 15 hotel chains, and 15 cruise lines can match their loyalty levels with Frontier’s tiers: Elite 20K, Elite 50K, or Elite 100K. This program includes partnerships with popular travel programs such as Delta Air Lines’ SkyMiles, United Airlines’ MileagePlus, Marriott Bonvoy, Hilton Honors, and Disney Cruise Line’s Castaway Club, among others. According to the airline, the status matching process has been designed to provide significant advantages to frequent travelers.

Benefits of Elite Status

To qualify for this status, travelers must activate their Frontier miles account and pay a fee. The cost is $99 for both the 20K and 50K status, while the 100K status requires a fee of $149, contingent upon holding a comparable airline status. Once approved, elite status will be valid until December 31, 2024.

Travelers with elite status enjoy many benefits, including:

  • Free carry-on bags
  • Free advanced seat assignments
  • Priority boarding
  • Complimentary upgrades to stretch seating when available

Purchasing Elite Status

Additionally, eligible travel rewards credit card holders now have the option to purchase Elite 20K status for $499 without needing to fly. This status remains valid through the end of 2024. Furthermore, travelers can bundle the Elite 20K status with a GoWild! All-You-Can-Fly Fall & Winter Pass for a total of $649. This unlimited flight pass typically starts at $299, making it an attractive deal for the regular flyer.

Tyri Squyres, Vice President of Marketing for Frontier Airlines, remarked, “The combination of elite status benefits and the GoWild! Pass makes an ideal asset for the frequent traveler. These offers present a fantastic opportunity to enjoy comprehensive FRONTIER Miles elite privileges all the way through 2024.”

It’s important to note that elite status differs significantly from Frontier’s Discount Den membership, which provides access to discounted fares and the option for children to fly free on select flights.

Frontier is joining a growing trend among low-cost airlines that offer status matching. Earlier this year, Spirit Airlines introduced a paid status-matching program, enhancing the travel experience for its passengers.

Simultaneously, changes from Delta Air Lines to its loyalty program will make it more challenging to achieve medallion status and access Delta Sky Club lounges in the upcoming year.
