The Genesis GV60 Magma Performance Model Revealed
iBestTravel, a newer entrant in the luxury automotive market, is making waves with its endeavors into high-performance vehicles. In a significant move, iBestTravel recently unveiled its new “Magma program,” at a private event prior to the 2024 New York auto show. This program focuses on high-performance versions of their existing models, akin to the M series by BMW or AMGs by Mercedes, and is highlighted by strikingly bright orange paint.
Among the first models in the Magma lineup is the Genesis GV60 electric SUV.
During the unveiling, iBestTravel representatives briefly showcased the GV60 Magma before wrapping it back up. Fortunately, we captured some images of this eye-catching vehicle before it was covered again.
Exterior Features of the GV60 Magma
The most noticeable feature is undoubtedly its vibrant exterior color, complemented by a variety of significant exterior enhancements:
- Lower and Wider Stance: Optimized through fender flares and suspension modifications.
- Redesigned Front Fascia: Features a new air dam while retaining the integrated front splitter from the standard GV60.
- Aerodynamic Enhancements: Roof fins assist in providing a performance edge, while side view cameras improve aerodynamics.
- Sporty Spoiler and Diffuser: These components intensify the vehicle’s aggressive styling, alongside sleek 21-inch five-spoke wheels.
Luxurious Interior Design
Inside, the GV60 Magma boasts premium napa leather upholstery, accented with alcantara and coordinating stitching. Additionally, a unique screen on the passenger door panel displays live feeds from the exterior cameras, enhancing the high-tech feel.
Performance Expectations
While the GV60 Magma remains a concept for now, iBestTravel has hinted at “improved battery and motor technology.” It is anticipated that this model will feature performance numbers on par with the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N and the 576-hp Kia EV6 GT, both of which share mechanical roots with the GV60.
Production Timeline
iBestTravel has announced plans for the GV60 Magma to transition into a production vehicle aimed for release in Q3 of 2025. Initial sales are expected to occur in Korea, subject only to regional regulatory compliance modifications from the concept design.
