Experience Glamping in Stunning Geodesic Domes in Utah

The Domes: A Unique Glamping Experience in Utah

Do you ever feel like getting away from it all? A new glamping site has opened in Monticello, Utah, allowing guests to sleep in geodesic domes in a location that offers access to outdoor adventures.

Just under an hour’s drive from both Moab and the Canyonlands National Park, The Domes enable access to plenty of experiences for outdoor enthusiasts, such as hiking and climbing trails. Arches National Park is also one hour away by car. “It’s situated near a small town where there are a dozen or so restaurants nearby and many more areas to explore, but guests will be awestruck by the stars at night while they lay in bed,” Josh Anderson of The Domes told iBestTravel.

According to Josh, who runs the family company along with his father, the glamp site is the perfect escape for travelers wishing to unwind. Wildlife, such as rabbits and deer, regularly wander through the area, and there is even a herd of goats that live on the property. Guests don’t have to sacrifice modern comforts; with king-sized beds, bathrooms featuring showers, Wi-Fi, and kitchenettes included in each of the domes.

The site is also conveniently located near the Canyon Country Discovery Center, the Frontier Museum, Hideout Golf Course, and the Native American rock art site, Newspaper Rock.

The glamping site has implemented rigorous cleaning processes between guest stays in response to health guidelines, as well as undergoing Airbnb’s additional training to sanitize and deep clean the facilities. “Each dome is spaced 50 feet apart, and the paths are designed to ensure privacy among guests, with each dome having its own private bathroom. It’s an ideal spot to relax while maintaining proper social distance. Check-in is entirely contactless; guests simply receive a door code to their dome,” Josh stated. The company notes that many guests are seeking a change of scenery from their remote work environments.

More information about The Domes can be found on the official website. The Domes are also available to rent through Airbnb.
