Does Your Hotel Rock? Explore the New Hard Rock Guitar-Shaped Hotel!
Sure, your hotel might be nice, but does it rock? The Hard Rock chain of hotels and casinos is dedicated to making guests feel like rock stars, and the latest addition to the Hard Rock brand is taking the rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle to a whole new level.
Welcome to the World’s First Guitar-Shaped Hotel
The brand is opening the world’s first guitar-shaped hotel in Hollywood, Florida. This new, $1.5-billion hotel is part of a $2.2-billion expansion of the current Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino locations in Tampa and Hollywood, Florida.
A Unique Experience Awaits
The 400-foot hotel is built like the body of a guitar, making it the most extravagant Hard Rock Hotel in history and a new addition to the ever-growing list of peculiar hotels around the world. Staying there feels a little like if you shrunk down The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, or even Aerosmith, and they all went to live inside a Fender. And that is certainly an exciting concept!
Luxurious Accommodations
The uniquely shaped building features palatial rooms starting at 515 square feet, according to CNN. Some accommodations will include swim-up suites and villas partially submerged in water, complete with butler service and a private pool.
Exciting Amenities Galore
Moreover, guests will be able to enjoy a 10-acre lagoon-style pool, a lazy river, a 12,000-square-foot rooftop bar, extensive shopping, a 41,000-square-foot spa, a comedy theater, 14 restaurants, and 3,000 slot machines along with 228 game tables at the casino, as reported by the Miami Herald.
Hard Rock Live: Entertainment Redefined
The real crowning glory of the new hotel is the rebuilt, 7,000-seat concert venue, Hard Rock Live, according to the Miami Herald. This venue will host more than 100 shows per year, including concerts, boxing matches, theater shows, and more. Notably, the hotel’s grand opening is set to feature a concert headlined by Maroon 5.
A Destination Worth Visiting
While not everyone is excited about the uniquely shaped hotel in South Florida — the Miami Herald panned its design back in 2018 — experts believe that Hard Rock “represents more than food, beverage, and a place to stay.” It serves as a destination full of kitsch, novelty, and frankly, lots of amazing perks.
Grand Opening Details
The new Hard Rock Hollywood is scheduled to open on Oct. 24, and it promises to be an exciting landmark for travelers and music lovers alike.
