Honda is recalling a total of 750,114 vehicles, which encompasses various models including:
- Honda Accord (2020-2022)
- Honda Civic (2020-2022)
- Honda CR-V (2020-2021)
- Acura MDX (2020-2022)
- Acura RDX (2020-2022)

The front passenger seat weight sensor in affected vehicles may crack and short circuit, preventing the airbag from suppressing as intended. Consequently, if an airbag deploys unintentionally during a crash, it significantly increases the risk of injury.

GM Recall Overview
GM’s recall affects 323,232 vehicles, including specific model years of Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks equipped with power-unlatching tailgates. The potential issue involves the tailgate’s electronic gate-release switch that may short circuit due to water intrusion, posing a significant safety risk as it may unlatch while the vehicle is in park.
The vehicles involved include:
- Chevrolet Silverado 2500 (2020-2024)
- GMC Sierra 2500 (2020-2024)
