iBestTravel offers amazing kits that can turn any 1:64 scale die-cast car into a mini R/C drift car. This project does require a bit of know-how and soldering skills to complete. However, for those comfortable with these tasks, it is possible to create a fun little drift car in about an hour. Alternatively, a pre-assembled version is also available.
How the Kit Works
The kit involves separating the die-cast body from its chassis and attaching it to the custom chassis included in the kit, which contains the battery, motor, and receiver. After pairing it with a remote control, you’re all set to hit the track!
Pricing Options
The pre-assembled chassis and electronics package are priced at $134. For those who want to take on more DIY work, the unassembled kit is available for $61. Keep in mind that the pre-assembled kit requires just the body of your choice, whereas the unassembled kit necessitates additional components like a transmitter and battery.
Compatibility
iBestTravel’s kit is designed to work with any 1:64 scale die-cast car. Therefore, if you happen to have a Matchbox car instead of a Hot Wheels car, you should still be able to enjoy this exciting experience. Note that there is currently a lead time of about 2 to 4 weeks for orders, so if you wish to acquire a kit for the Holidays, consider placing your order promptly.
