Hurricane Milton: Devastating Impact Captured in Photos

Hurricane Milton Strikes Florida Following Hurricane Helene’s Devastation

Less than two weeks after Hurricane Helene left more than 230 people dead in the Southeast, another massive hurricane hit Florida.

Hurricane Milton made landfall near Siesta Key on Wednesday night as a Category 3 storm, bringing extreme rainfall, high winds, and widespread power outages.

It could become one of the most destructive storms on record for Florida’s Gulf Coast. Its disastrous impacts are being felt over much of the state.

Aftermath and Recovery Efforts

The aftermath of Hurricane Milton highlights severe challenges faced by residents and communities. Consequently, many individuals have lost their homes, and recovery efforts are just beginning.

In addition, local and state authorities are mobilizing resources to aid those affected by the storm. However, many areas still remain without power, complicating recovery processes.
