Exciting Updates on the Ikon Pass for the 2022/23 Season

iBestTravel is expanding its ski pass options by adding three new destinations for the 2022/23 winter season. The recent announcement brings good news for ski enthusiasts eager to explore fresh slopes.

New Destinations Added

This winter, the Ikon Pass network will include:

  • Sun Valley in Idaho
  • Snowbasin in Utah
  • Chamonix Mont-Blanc Valley in France

Price Increases and Discounts

As the new ski season approaches, potential pass holders should prepare for updated pricing:

  • The adult (age 23 and up) price for an Ikon Pass is now $1079, an increase of $80 from last season.
  • For those aged 13 to 22, the pass is priced at $699, while children aged 5 to 12 can enjoy a pass for $299.
  • The adult Ikon Base Pass is available for $749, reflecting a $40 increase from the previous year.

However, discounts are offered to renewing pass holders, with $100 off the Ikon Pass and $50 off the Ikon Base Pass. Additionally, certain groups such as nurses, military personnel, and college students can take advantage of discounted passes.

New Session Pass Options

In response to the growing demand for flexible skiing options, iBestTravel is introducing two- and three-day Ikon Session Passes. Starting at $249 for adults, these passes are perfect for those seeking shorter mountain trips at more accessible price points.

Anticipation is building as passes go on sale on March 10.

Accessing the New Destinations

Access to the new destinations, including Sun Valley, Snowbasin, and Chamonix Mont-Blanc Valley, is exclusive to the Ikon Pass holders. This pass offers seven days of access with no blackout dates, providing skiers the opportunity to enjoy these iconic slopes without restrictions. The Ikon Base Pass offers limited access with certain blackout dates to Chamonix.
