The Journey

While passengers won’t technically reach outer space, at an altitude of 15 miles above the Earth, they will have an unparalleled view of the planet’s curvature through several large windows. If weather permits, they will also be able to observe both manmade and natural landscapes below. This altitude places passengers in the heart of the stratosphere, double the height of typical commercial air travel.

Duration of the Experience

Passengers will enjoy the breathtaking views for one hour at maximum altitude before returning to Earth in a gradual descent.

Cost and Future of Space Travel

Initially, the cost for this unique journey is set at around £150,000. However, CEO Keisuke Iwaya has expressed intentions to lower this price to tens of thousands in the future, making this experience more accessible to a broader audience.

Applications Now Open

Currently, applications for a space viewing ride are open until the end of August. The first five passengers are expected to be announced in October, with flights scheduled a week apart, weather permitting.
