My JetBlue Aruba Vacation Experience: A Detailed Review

Relaxing in Aruba

Sitting in a quiet and peaceful natural pool in Aruba’s Arikok National Park, while the waves gently crashed, I enjoyed the morning view of crystal clear ocean water crested over a natural rock formation covered in deep green moss.

What makes this scene even more relaxing? The trip was entirely planned for me.

JetBlue Vacations Setup

Cue JetBlue Vacations, where a network of “insiders” curated by the airline helps customers make the most of their vacation. Travelers who utilize the service are given immediate access to a phone number, a WhatsApp contact, and an email for local insiders, allowing them to reach out for activities and dining recommendations.

JetBlue Vacations is a comprehensive solution for booking flights, car rentals, hotel stays, and even cruises in one place. The unique benefits, including the Insider Experience program, are designed to simplify trip planning while offering personalized service often lacking in traditional vacation packages.

Stay at Aruba Marriott

During my trip organized by JetBlue Vacations, I stayed at the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino, a hotel that features JetBlue’s “Very Important Perks,” including a $125 resort credit per stay. Other hotels may offer complimentary spa treatments, guaranteed late checkout, or a welcome gift upon arrival.

Activities in Aruba

Activity company De Palm Tours, which partners with JetBlue, arranged our early morning Jeep ride through the national park.

On the island, I spent my days soaking up the sun and bathing in Aruba’s natural pools. For lunch, I snacked on hummus on the beach or visited Craft for inventive tacos, such as tamari-glazed Brussels sprouts on corn tortillas. In the evening, I enjoyed a meal at Papiamento, a renowned restaurant where diners sit around a pool surrounded by illuminated palm trees.

Beautiful Beaches

The best part of any Caribbean vacation is undeniably the beaches, and Aruba’s did not disappoint. White sand made from ground coral melted into turquoise water gently lapping at the shore. Throughout my stay, I made frequent calls to the ocean, staring out at boats dotting the horizon.

As my vacation concluded, I met my airport transfer at the hotel and made my way to the airport. While waiting to board my flight—content and a bit sunburned—I found a small rainbow-colored magnet at the airport gift shop. Its colors reminded me of Aruba, and once home, it found a place on my fridge, serving as a joyful reminder of this beautiful island in the Caribbean Sea.
