Discover Greece’s New Luxury All-Suite Hotel: Exclusive First Look

Costa Navarino: A Hidden Gem in Greece

Costa Navarino, a sun-drenched slice of Greece’s Peloponnese Peninsula, may not be a household travel name like Mykonos or Santorini. However, this scenic region, steeped in ancient history, has emerged as one of the premier luxury destinations in Greece and Europe. With premium hotels, world-class golf courses, and stunning gold-sand beaches, it’s no surprise that Costa Navarino is gaining recognition among travelers.

Mandarin Oriental Opening

Recently, Mandarin Oriental chose Costa Navarino for their first Greek outpost, which opened on August 15. “Our vision is to invite our guests to discover one of the Mediterranean’s most idyllic beachfront destinations on the Peloponnese with exceptional wellness, dining, sports, and leisure experiences, as well as authentic immersive cultural and historical experiences,” said Raul Levis, the property’s general manager.

Levis emphasized that the villas are seamlessly integrated into the natural landscape with landscaped rooftops, allowing guests to feel as if they are on a green hill overlooking Navarino Bay. Each villa is placed strategically to ensure complete privacy for guests.

Culinary Experience

Chef Bertrand Valegeas, who has an impressive background with Four Seasons, One&Only, St. Regis, and Waldorf Astoria hotels, oversees the culinary program at the resort. Among the five restaurants and bars available, Oliviera stands out due to its stunning location showcasing sweeping bay views. This spot features a diverse à la carte menu that highlights international flavors. Moreover, Levantine cuisine, which encompasses the culinary traditions of Lebanon, Syria, Israel, Cyprus, and Jordan, is prepared with fresh local produce at Tahir Restaurant.
