Luxury Beach Clubs Elevate Summer Style with Dior Ice Cream and Designer Towels

1. Valentino x Palazzo Avino

The quaint village of Marmorata on Italy’s Amalfi Coast may not be a household name like neighboring Ravello or Positano, but it has gained attention with a high-profile collaboration. The legendary Italian brand Valentino partnered with another Italian icon, Palazzo Avino, to create a summertime beach club and boutique pop-up experience. Palazzo Avino is a luxury hotel located in a 12th-century villa.

This collaboration, a first for the fashion house, transformed the hotel’s Clubhouse by the Sea into a quintessential escape featuring Valentino-red umbrellas, sun loungers, and a 1950s-style cabina surrounded by lemon trees. Even the club’s flowers and ring buoy are now adorned in white and red, showcasing the company’s signature V logo. Guests can shop Valentino’s exclusive summer 2023 collection at the hotel, just a short 15-minute ride from the beach club.

2. Dolce & Gabbana Collaborations

Dolce & Gabbana has taken things further by collaborating with multiple high-end resorts and beach clubs across Europe. In Sicily, the San Domenico Palace, Taormina, A Four Seasons Hotel, now features stunning views of Mount Etna from its clifftop beach club, which is adorned in the brand’s signature white-and-blue Blu Mediterraneo pattern, inspired by traditional maiolica prints. Meanwhile, Grand Hotel Quisisana’s beach club in Capri overlooks the Faraglioni rock formations and has received the Dolce & Gabbana Blu Mediterraneo treatment.

3. Dior at The Beverly Hills Hotel

If your travels don’t lead you to Europe this summer, consider heading to Los Angeles. The Beverly Hills Hotel has launched a summer pop-up with Dior, transforming its upper pool deck into a luxurious oasis furnished with Dior-branded lounge chairs, umbrellas, and cabanas. The pop-up even features a boutique that looks like a sand castle. Here, guests can find unique items, including surfboards and yoga mats from the latest Dioriviera capsule collection.

Moreover, a Dior ice cream cart offers house-made coconut lime, melon, and pineapple sorbet, as well as mango and strawberry ice cream. Such delightful treats add an exciting touch to the overall experience for guests looking for luxury.
