Work From Las Vegas: MGM Resorts’ Exciting Offerings for Remote Workers
If working from home has already become tedious, MGM Resorts in Nevada has launched a new “work from ” package aimed at attracting remote workers looking for a change of scenery. As fewer travelers are booking hotel stays due to the ongoing effects of the coronavirus pandemic, and recover lost revenue from lockdowns.
Elevated Work Experiences at MGM Resorts
In classic Las Vegas fashion, MGM is making a splash with its Bellagio and ARIA properties through the “Viva Las Office” offer. This package features:
- Full-day poolside cabana rentals
- Lunch-hour massages
- Early check-in and late check-out
- An executive assistant to assist with bookings and activities
“We recognize that working from home daily can be draining and monotonous. We are thrilled to provide a curated experience at Bellagio and ARIA that merges work with leisure,” stated Atif Rafiq, president of Commercial and Growth for MGM Resorts. This initiative is intended to deliver the best of both worlds: a safe, spacious workspace while permitting guests to enjoy the renowned amenities and experiences that Las Vegas offers.
MGM has also collaborated with private jet service JSX, offering discounted flights to Las Vegas from various cities, such as Burbank, Orange County, Oakland, Dallas, and Seattle. This partnership allows passengers to bypass long lines and utilize private airport terminals for a more socially-distanced experience.
Since Nevada’s casinos reopened on June 4, Las Vegas’s airport reported over one million passengers in June—marking a significant decline from last year’s traffic of 4.4 million travelers.
Prices for these work-from-hotel packages start at US$100 per night, excluding resort fees. This enticing offer is available for mid-week stays until the end of September.
