Experience a Bluebonnet Cocktail at Texas’ Premier Luxury Resort This Spring

It’s almost springtime, which means we’re about to see some beautiful blooms all over the U.S.

Typically, between March and mid-April, the iconic bluebonnets that grow wild in Texas (also the state flower) begin to blossom. This natural spectacle makes the state one of the best places to experience springtime in all its glory. Last year, Big Bend National Park experienced its largest bluebonnet bloom in a decade, and this year may be just as colorful.

In celebration of this annual bloom, luxury ranch resort JL Bar Ranch, Resort & Spa in Sonora, Texas, is rolling out a series of special bluebonnet-inspired offers for guests.

First, JL Bar will be serving up two local-flower-inspired signature cocktails: The Bluebonnet and The Indian Paintbrush. Although the exact ingredients for these cocktails are still a mystery, the Bluebonnet features jalapeño notes and captivates with its beautiful blue color. Conversely, The Indian Paintbrush resembles the flower itself as a pink cocktail served in a martini glass, garnished with lemon.

In addition to exquisite cocktails, guests can take advantage of several special packages. The resort is offering a Bluebonnet Days Room Package, which includes a stay in a premium room, a private photographer to capture photos among the wildflowers and bluebonnets, complimentary food and house beverages, bluebonnet-inspired activities, a welcome Signature Bluebonnet cocktail, and a nightly turndown treat.

For those seeking a delightful weekend getaway, the resort also presents a Monday Blues Package. This three-day weekend stay includes a Monday (for example, Saturday to Monday, or Sunday to Tuesday) and features amenities similar to the Bluebonnet Days Room package, with the added attraction of live Blues music on Monday evening.
