Renovation of the Ruins of the Church of St Paul in Macau
The most famous sight in Macau, the Ruins of the Church of St Paul, will be closed for a month starting on 16 August due to necessary renovation works. This historical site attracts numerous tourists and holds significant cultural value.
The renowned facade of the 17th-century church is one of Macau’s top visitor attractions. During the closure, inner ticketed portions of the visitor experience, including the Museum of Sacred Art and the crypt, will not be accessible. However, the front portion of the facade will remain open for visitors to appreciate its historical significance.
