Upon entering, guests are greeted by a chic, retro-themed atmosphere reminiscent of a vividly colored Italian homewares boutique. The interiors feature cartoon goddesses on the ceilings, emperors and pizza motifs woven into the carpets, and footballers’ mugshots adorning the walls. The Backstory
Although primarily recognized as “Mama Shelter,” the roots trace back to Club Med, a pioneer in the leisure travel industry during the latter half of the 20th century. Gilbert Trigano transformed vacation experiences, with his legacy carried on by his family. In 2008, his son and grandsons launched Mama Shelter, combining innovative design by Philippe Starck with an affordable vibe.
