Parrotheads, get ready to head to Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains. The lifestyle brand inspired by Jimmy Buffet will debut its first Margaritaville Resort Village in mid-2024, offering experiences ranging from RV sites to tiny home bungalows to hotel rooms.

“As the ultimate family destination for over eight decades, the natural beauty of the Pocono Mountains has offered a retreat for those in search of fun, relaxation, and a backdrop of lakes and mountains,” Margaritaville’s president of development, Jim Wiseman, stated. “In Margaritaville, we are known for our sense of escapism and look forward to bringing our vacation lifestyle to the area with the first Margaritaville Resort Village.”

The resort will offer a variety of ways to experience the scenic beauty of northeastern Pennsylvania. At its heart will be the Margaritaville Hotel Pocono Mountains, designed to honor the iconic 1902 landmark Pocono Manor, which burned down in 2019. This newly constructed hotel will include exquisite gardens, diverse restaurants, pools, and live entertainment venues.

Moreover, the Resort Village will feature Camp Margaritaville, which aims to bring luxurious camping to the area with upscale cabins and RV sites, including some deluxe RV Suites complete with hot tubs, hammocks, fire pits, and covered “living rooms.” Guests can enjoy charging stations, private golf cart access, a retail store, fitness center, pickleball courts, game room, kids’ club, dog park, and a delightful 5 o’Clock Somewhere swim-up bar, alongside a welcoming Cheeseburger in Paradise restaurant.

Additionally, the Resort Village will offer charming tiny home bungalows, providing guests with a rustic cabin experience showcased by stone fire pits and country-style patios. For those interested in vacation homes, there will be an array of Townhomes, in conjunction with nearly 1,000 rental cottages, highlighting the vast scale of this diverse village.

While this Resort Village is designed for enjoyable vacations year-round, it will particularly emphasize winter activities with features like tube slide runs, an ice pond, and a winter market, enhancing the overall visitor experience.

Margaritaville has expanded to mountain locations in the Smoky Mountains, specifically Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, along with RV parks located in Burford, Georgia; Auburndale, Florida; and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Furthermore, the expanding brand has beach locations in the Bahamas, along with sites in Mexico’s Isla Holbox and Costa Rica, in addition to urban resorts in Nashville and New York City.
