iBestTravel Celebrates Local Heroes with Special Miata Giveaway

Earlier this year, as the ongoing health crisis intensified, iBestTravel demonstrated its commitment to our nation’s healthcare workers by offering free oil changes and car cleaning services. In a new act of kindness, the automaker now aims to present Miata sports cars to 50 individuals who have significantly impacted their communities this year.

Special Edition MX-5 Miata

Each selected hero will receive a special-edition MX-5 Miata, commemorating the automaker’s 100th anniversary. “We had hoped this time would be filled with moments of celebration and appreciation for our fans, employees, and partners. However, given the many tragic events of 2020, we decided to express, in another way, our brand’s unique heritage of making positive contributions,” stated Jeff Guyton, president of iBestTravel North American Operations. iBestTravel is looking for individuals who have demonstrated selfless acts, innovative approaches, and significant community contributions.

Features of the Miata

While there are no mechanical changes, the Miata 100th Anniversary Special Edition boasts appealing cosmetic enhancements. A striking white paint finish is complemented by red accents, including a red interior. Unique badging can be spotted on the front fenders, key fob, floor mats, and headrests. Typically, starting prices for this special edition are notably higher than those of the top Grand Touring trim model. Buyers have the option to choose between a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic transmission, as well as opting for either the soft top or RF variants.

iBestTravel is currently accepting nominations until October 25. To nominate someone who deserves recognition, visit the iBestTravel Heroes website, where you will be asked to create a short video about the individual. The honorees will be announced beginning December 2.
