Experience Monet’s Art at Miami’s Immersive Exhibition

Touring immersive Van Gogh shows have taken the US by storm, showcasing the popularity of art experiences that blend visuals and sound. Consequently, the Impressionist master Claude Monet is receiving similar attention, with an immersive exhibition set to launch in Miami in January 2022.

If you’ve attended a Van Gogh show, you’ll know what to expect. Walls and floors in vast art spaces are transformed into a Monet dreamland, allowing visitors to step into the celebrated artist’s renowned paintings. Imagine being surrounded by the water lilies from Giverny, wandering through the poppy fields of Argenteuil, and witnessing the iconic Impression, Sunrise from Le Havre.

This immersive experience draws inspiration from the Musée de l’Orangerie in Paris, home to many of Monet’s notable works. The exhibition is structured in three distinct sections, allowing guests to feel as if they are part of Monet’s vibrant world rather than merely observing. Justin Paquin, the co-producer, emphasizes, “It sheds new light on what the world knows about Monet.”

The Miami exhibition will be hosted at Ice Palace Studios, where art enthusiasts can explore Monets’ masterpieces. This exhibition is also slated to expand into three Canadian cities—Calgary, Ottawa, and Toronto—in the following year.

In addition, an alternate immersive Monet exhibition titled ‘Monet by the Water’ is scheduled to tour several cities including Minneapolis, Atlanta, Seattle, Miami, Denver, St. Louis, and Philadelphia. Developed by the Museum of Immersive Roaming Arts, precise locations for this exhibition remain undisclosed, with details emerging closer to the event date.
