Discover Charleston’s Newest Hotel: Stunning Decor and a Perfect Patio

Introduction to The Pinch

The Pinch features 25 meticulously curated rooms and is set to introduce two forthcoming dining concepts. This new addition to Charleston enhances the city’s reputation as a premier vacation destination, offering a diverse range of activities and a vibrant restaurant scene.

Room Amenities and Aesthetic

The Pinch offers guests a stylish environment to stay and a memorable culinary adventure. Located in the heart of historic Charleston, this hotel is housed in three separate buildings: two Victorian-style structures, which have been painstakingly restored and are part of the National Register of Historic Places, along with a newly constructed building. This mix seamlessly blends Charleston’s rich history with modern aesthetics.

The property boasts 22 luxury rooms and suites, along with three residences available for extended stays. The sleek interiors feature:

  • Lush velvet sofas
  • Vintage rugs
  • Custom décor items
  • Full kitchens
  • Italian marble farmhouse sinks
  • Hand-painted terracotta Moroccan floor tiles in the bathrooms
  • Ample closet space and washers and dryers

Moreover, the walls are adorned with beautiful artwork from local and international artists, enhancing the elegant atmosphere.

Dining Experience

The hotel will also introduce two restaurants, expected to open this summer. A turn-of-the-century oyster house and bar will serve patrons fresh seafood and craft cocktails. Additionally, a destination restaurant will feature a seasonal menu “rooted in French techniques and southern traditions,” as explained by Randall Cook, the CEO and co-founder of Method Co. An intimate bar located in a former carriage house will offer a warm ambiance with a wood-burning fireplace, original pine floors, and an extensive whiskey list. The beautifully designed patio off the lobby will be an ideal spot for relaxation over drinks or lunch.

“We’ve designed The Pinch to be the ideal place for those looking to adventure a little deeper into the nuanced offerings of Charleston,” Cook added.
