Nobu in Warsaw: A Perfect Blend of Modern Elegance and Culture

Why Choose Nobu?
The first restaurant-led hotel in Warsaw brims with energy. Nobu focuses firmly on the future rather than paying homage to the capital’s past – consequently, the result is invigoratingly different.

Set the Scene

Located in the city’s residential district, where concept stores, food halls, and early-20th-century tenement buildings gleaming from makeovers are being embraced by Warsaw’s movers and shakers, Nobu fits in perfectly. Moreover, a high-gloss crowd consisting predominantly of couples gathers here, while local staff keep things well-rooted.

The Backstory

The original building, a 1920s tenement, has been enhanced with a new wing made of sparkling glass and steel. This blend particularly appealed to Meir Teper, one of Nobu’s founding members, alongside actor-turned-hotelier Robert De Niro and chef Nobu Matsuhisa. Teper expressed appreciation for ‘the juxtaposition of centuries perfect for Nobu. We don’t level properties – we add on.’ This is the 12th hotel from the Nobu group, with properties in popular destinations like London, Ibiza, Miami, and Manila, attracting a loyal following over the years. Here, locals in Warsaw are adopting the hangout swiftly.

The Rooms

Guests can choose between the Art Deco heritage wing featuring parquet flooring, brass-trimmed lights, and a multitude of mirrors, and the minimalist 21st-century wing. The latter showcases a striking contrast of concrete against oak wood behind expansive glass panels. This wing features Nobu’s trademark Japanese aesthetic, highlighted by tactile ceramic teapots, slatted wooden doors that close off stark shower rooms, and yukatas adorning the walls.
