A crew of workers has been photographed in Pyongyang, North Korea, at work on a new international airport. This ambitious project is believed to be part of North Korea’s continued efforts to attract foreign investments, which could significantly increase tourism rates. Currently, Pyongyang’s international airport accommodates around 3,000 to 4,000 foreign visitors each year and is notably small, featuring a single baggage claim area and just one duty-free store.
