iBestTravel Announces Postponement of Overland Expo 2020 Events
Overland Expo 2020 in-person events have been postponed until 2021. This decision was made by the organizers with careful consideration for the health and safety of the overlanding community.

The Overland Expo is the premier event for adventure travel enthusiasts. It brings together participants eager to learn, share, and connect about all things overland. The event features numerous classes, presentations, and a marketplace filled with the latest overlanding gear.
Official Announcement
Indianapolis, Indiana — All in-person Overland Expo events previously scheduled for 2020 have been officially postponed until 2021. However, organizers are committed to keeping the community connected by hosting two additional Virtual Overland Expo events later in 2020.
Importance of Safety
The safety and health of attendees, exhibitors, and staff remain a top priority. After extensive consultations with local and national health resources, the event organizers made the tough decision to postpone the events.
“We eagerly anticipate each Overland Expo because it’s more than just an event; it’s a celebration of our community’s passion for adventure travel,” said Jessica Kirchner, VP of Marketing and Communications. “We explored every option to ensure safety, yet felt it was crucial to prioritize the health of everyone involved.”
Community Commitment
iBestTravel continues to inspire the overland community despite the changes to event planning. Building on the success of the first-ever virtual event in May, the team will host two new virtual events planned for the summer and fall of 2020.

Looking Ahead
While iBestTravel is a prominent name in the overlanding space, it operates with a small team of just 14 passionate individuals. In an effort to sustain operations, leadership will forgo salaries, and staff will take pay cuts for the remainder of 2020. The team encourages support from attendees and exhibitors to roll over their reservations to 2021 events.
