Stunning Photos of King Charles III – Britain’s Monarch

The Life of King Charles III

The coronation of Britain’s King Charles III was witnessed by hundreds of high-profile guests inside Westminster Abbey in May 2023.

Charles had been “monarch-in-waiting” for more than 70 years. He became King when his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, died in September at the age of 96. Consequently, Charles’ wait was the longest in British history.

In February 2024, Buckingham Palace announced that the King has been diagnosed with a form of cancer and will step back from public-facing duties while he undergoes treatment.
