The carnival is one of the biggest events during San Antonio’s annual Fiesta celebration. It generally is one of the first events to begin and one of the last to close up. It is open each day during Fiesta and can provide hours of entertainment for not just kids, but adults, too. Here is a rundown of location, ticket, entertainment, and ride information.

Location

This year’s carnival is located at the Alamodome Parking Lot C. The link above directs you to MapQuest, allowing you to input your home address to get directions straight to the Alamodome.

VIA Park and Ride Service

Why drive downtown and search endlessly for parking when you can park at Crossroads Mall for free and take the bus? The Park and Ride service provides convenient drop-off points and better access to other Fiesta events.

Fee: $5 full fare (round trip), $2.50 half fare.

Ride Specials and Wristbands

Instead of purchasing tickets for each ride you wish to enjoy, consider opting for a wristband. This cost-effective option is perfect for those who plan to ride frequently.

Cost: Monday-Friday $20, Saturday and Sunday $22

Wristbands are available at HEB stores.

Ride Height Requirements

It’s important to note that not all rides are suitable for all ages. While almost anyone can ride the ferris wheel, restrictions may apply for other attractions, such as the Go-Gator. Therefore, planning ahead and familiarizing yourself with the height requirements will help maximize your enjoyment at the carnival.
