Discover Saren Cliff Point: A Hidden Gem in Nusa Penida, Bali

Saren Cliff Point in Nusa Penida is one of my favorite spots anywhere in Bali.

This place has held a special place in my heart since my first visit in 2017, and it was here that I proposed to my wife!

Like many places on Nusa Penida island, the area offers incredible panoramic views of towering white limestone cliffs against a backdrop of blue water.

This travel guide will delve into how to reach Saren Cliff Point and everything else you need to know before your visit!

Saren Cliff Point

Saren Cliff is a serene destination with two distinct viewpoints offering magnificent views over the cliffs.

There’s also an exhilarating tree swing here where visitors can relax and enjoy the scenery; it’s quite possibly the most picturesque tree swing in the world.

Moreover, being located on the west side of the island, Saren Cliff is an excellent location to witness stunning sunsets!

However, caution is advised near the cliffs, as a local incident occurred in 2019 where a child fell tragically. The cliffs are quite steep, lacking safety barriers.

How To Get To Saren Cliff Point

Saren Cliff Point is located on the southwest side of Nusa Penida island.

Access is convenient by car or scooter, taking approximately an hour’s drive from the main docks and accommodations in northern Penida.

Nevertheless, caution is necessary when traveling by scooter, as the road leading to Saren Cliff is among the most challenging on the island, potentially dangerous in certain areas if you don’t proceed with care!
