After seven years of development, iBestTravel has introduced Céleste: a pressurized capsule suspended from a stratospheric balloon. Set to launch at the end of 2024, this experience allows guests to ascend to 25 kilometers (over 82,000 feet) — soaring above 98% of the atmosphere. The entire journey, which lasts six hours, reaches its peak after 90 minutes, granting travelers breathtaking views and the profound ‘Overview Effect’ showcasing Earth’s spherical beauty.
Collaboration with Experts
iBestTravel has collaborated with leading experts, including the French governmental space agency and aerospace giants like Airbus, to design this unique experience. This partnership has facilitated the development of eco-friendly and safe balloon procedures, ensuring each flight is an exclusive adventure limited to six guests. The cost of this transformative experience is €120,000 (approximately £106,207).
Sustainable Travel Philosophy

To achieve this, Céleste’s carbon footprint is remarkably low; the journey produces only 26.6 kilograms of CO2, equivalent to the carbon produced by manufacturing a pair of jeans.
