New Visitor Entry Requirements for St. Lucia in 2025

1. New Digital Arrival Form

Starting Wednesday, travelers to the Caribbean Island of St. Lucia will need to complete a new digital form ahead of their arrival. The new Electronic Immigration Form requires travelers to submit their itinerary and contact information within 72 hours of arrival. Moreover, the form requests the nature of the visit, such as whether it is for business, a convention, a wedding, or visiting friends.

2. Health-Related Questions

Despite the fact that St. Lucia has removed all COVID-19 entry restrictions, the new form includes several health-related questions. These inquiries aim to determine if a traveler exhibits any symptoms or has been in contact with someone who had a communicable disease. Notably, the form states that any false declarations will incur a fine of XCD $1,000 (approximately $370 USD).

3. Importance of Timely Submission

The tourism department for St. Lucia emphasizes on its website that all travelers are strongly encouraged to submit the digital form within 3 days of arrival. Consequently, those who do not complete the form in advance will be required to fill out and submit a paper version upon arrival at the airport.

4. Enhancing Travel Experiences

“We have been listening to our nationals, visitors, and investors who are seeking seamless travel experiences backed by confidence in the management of the destination’s entry processes,” stated Sean Alexander, assistant superintendent in charge of the Department of Immigration. This collaborative approach ensures that St. Lucia’s commitment to welcoming travelers meets global standards.

5. Group Form Submission

Travelers only need to submit a single form on behalf of an entire family or group. After completing the form, travelers will receive an emailed receipt with a QR Code to present to local authorities upon arrival, according to the government’s website.

6. Upcoming Festivals and Specials

Travelers planning a trip to the island should consider checking out the upcoming St. Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival in May. Additionally, they may want to take advantage of winter travel specials curated by the local tourism board, which include hotel discounts of up to 40% off.
