As winter approaches, the ski season is set to begin, and one ski school in Switzerland is on the lookout for a dedicated tester to ensure their slopes are in peak condition.

Located in the picturesque region of Verbier, within the renowned Four Valleys ski area, the Altitude Ski School is seeking an official “slope tester” for the upcoming ski season.
What Does the Role Involve?
The slope tester will navigate a variety of slopes, from beginner to expert levels, assessing the snow quality, route diversity, and overall speed of descent. This role requires a combination of skiing skills and an adventurous spirit.
With eight locations to choose from, the selected tester can coordinate their testing across stunning destinations, including:
- Zermatt – at the foot of the Matterhorn
- Wengen – known for the famous Lauberhorn slope
Who Can Apply?
Ideal candidates are those who:
- Are at least eighteen years old
- Possess strong skiing skills
- Enjoy working in a picturesque natural setting
Having a fondness for Swiss cheese and chocolate is a plus, although they need not be enjoyed together!
