Many countries produce incredible, unique wines; however, for the second consecutive year, one winery, Bodega Zuccardi Valle de Uco in Argentina, has been named the best in the world.

Recently announced by World’s Best Vineyards, Bodega Zuccardi Valle de Uco received accolades as both the best winery globally and the premier winery in . The awards ceremony took place virtually, focusing on the quality of wine tourism amidst COVID-19 restrictions. Over 1500 wineries worldwide were evaluated, with a panel of more than 500 wine experts narrowlisting down to the top 50. The selection criteria included wine quality, overall guest experience, tours, tastings, ambiance, dining options, staff quality, scenic views, value for money, reputation, and accessibility.

Founded in 2016, the winery is renowned for its high altitude, limestone-influenced wines and provides engaging tours and tastings. Additionally, it features a restaurant accommodating up to 50 guests, specializing in gourmet food and wine pairings.

“I believe this to be a great recognition for a family that believes in the place where it lives and grows. The winery is inspired by the Mountains, which shape the identity of our wines. The winery aspires to harmonize with the landscape, aiming to maintain its relevance for many years to come by reflecting the identity of the place. Other esteemed wineries recognized as the best in the world include Rippon in New Zealand, Robert Mondavi in the USA, Uruguay’s Bodega Garzón, Domäne Wachau in Austria, Chile’s Montes, and Bodegas de los Herederos del Marqués de Riscal in Spain’s renowned region.
