What To Do In Nusa Penida
West Nusa Penida
1. Broken Bay
For most visitors, Broken Bay is usually the first stop. This stunning circular cove, characterized by a unique arch, is a prime spot to see manta rays swimming gracefully nearby.
2. Angel’s Billabong
This enchanting tide pool, located near Broken Bay, is perfect for wading, while the ocean views are equally magnificent.
3. Kelingking Cliff Viewpoint
Kelingking Cliff offers one of the most iconic views in Nusa Penida, featuring a rock formation resembling a “T-Rex jaw” jutting out into the sea. The breathtaking turquoise waters that surround it create a mesmerizing sight.
4. Kelingking Beach
If you’re up for a challenge, you can hike down to Kelingking Beach. This trek is demanding, taking at least 2 hours roundtrip, so don’t forget to hydrate!
The beach below is pristine, with gigantic waves and even a hidden cave!
5. Paluang Cliff
While Kelingking Cliff attracts many visitors, nearby Paluang Cliff boasts its own spectacular views, offering a more tranquil alternative to admire the famous T-Rex formation.
6. Pura Paluang
This unusual shrine, referred to as the ‘car temple’, is situated on the west coast of Penida. It’s conveniently located near popular tourist sites, making it easy to add to your itinerary.
7. Smoke Beach
This captivating beach spot creates mist as the tide crashes against the rocks. If you’re visiting Kelingking Beach, it’s just a quick 20-minute drive away!
8. Korawa Beach Overlook
Korawa Beach features a white sandy shore with beautiful cliff viewpoints. Although it’s often confused with Diamond Beach, it’s actually located on the opposite side of the island.
