Playland’s Castaway Cove will open GaleForce this summer. At 64 miles per hour, riders may catch only a glimpse of the New Jersey shore.The riders become the sharks at Mako, SeaWorld Orlando’s newest — and tallest, longest, and fastest — roller coaster. It’s all part of Shark Wreck Reef, a new underwater world that combines a thrilling ride and increasing shark awareness.Riders get to engage in a battle to save the planet from alien invaders as the Steamin’ Demon coaster adds virtual reality at Six Flags Great Escape in upstate New York.
