In terms of safety, the study reveals that Japan ranks as the safest country for solo travelers in 2023, largely due to its impressively low crime rate. Following Japan is Switzerland in the second position, and Slovenia takes third place.

They also highlighted that traveling solo can initially be a daunting experience. Regarding attractions, Iceland boasts the highest number of exciting sites, with 583 attractions available for every 100,000 residents.
