Exploring Vietnam’s Spratly Islands
In a bid to bring more tourists to the Spratly Islands, a chain of disputed islands in the South China Sea, Ho Chi Minh City is planning to introduce new tour services. These islands were first made accessible to tourists in Vietnam last year. One tour operator currently offers seven-day tours that include engaging activities with soldiers and locals. Moreover, authorities have now requested additional tourism companies to ‘offer a reasonable price to attract tourists to the islands.’ This initiative promises to enhance the travel experience in this unique region.
