This lifestyle provided unparalleled flexibility, allowing me to adjust itinerary choices on the go. Whether we pulled over at scenic lakes for an impromptu swim or discovered charming villages otherwise overlooked, the adventure was memorable and fulfilling.
Where to Stay and the Vibe
Switzerland is renowned for its stunning landscapes but is often perceived as expensive. The solution? Renting a campervan! By merging accommodation and transport, we enjoyed an unforgettable experience while keeping costs manageable.
Our campervan, the Family Finca, comfortably accommodated three travelers. Its responsive service was a significant advantage—especially when a tire puncture occurred, and we were back on the road within an hour.

Our journey commenced after landing in Zurich with a breakfast stop at a local bakery. From there, we traversed to Lucerne, where the medieval architecture captivated us. Next, we headed to Interlaken, indulging in local gelato and chocolate while falling in love with the quaint charm of Brienz.
Grindelwald became a highlight, especially with views from the First Cliff Walk and connections to a familiar face from my hometown. The picturesque scenery prompted spontaneous moments of joy, further cementing this trip as unforgettable.
