We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Milwaukee, a fantastic location housed in a beautifully refurbished 125-year-old National Historic Landmark. Upon entering, the five-story atrium, adorned with historic photos and old bank vaults, creates a warm welcome for guests.
1. Harley Davidson Milwaukee
No visit to Milwaukee would be complete without touring the Harley Davidson Museum. Established in Milwaukee, Harley Davidson has become emblematic of motorcycle culture. This museum details the legacy of Harley Davidson, tracing its evolution from local origins to a global symbol of freedom.
Interactive Displays
Experience the thrill of a motorcycle ride with the Jump Start feature outside the museum, and enjoy interactive displays like the virtual ride room and the Evil Knievel video game.

3. Watch the Wings Open from Reiman Suspension Bridge
Arrive at the waterfront promptly at 10:00 a.m. to witness the breathtaking opening of the Milwaukee Art Museum’s sails. The Burke Brise Soleil, with a wingspan analogous to a Boeing 747, unfolds gracefully, making for a spectacular sight.
Stand in the middle of the Reiman Suspension pedestrian footbridge for the best view.

4. Summerfest in Milwaukee
Often referred to as the world’s largest music festival, Summerfest takes place every June. Hosted at Henry Maier Festival Park, this event features over 11 stages and spans 11 days.
