Circa Resort & Casino: A New Era for Las Vegas
A new resort and casino is coming to Las Vegas, but you might need to leave the kids at home.
Circa Resort & Casino plans to be the first ever adults-only, 21+ casino-resort in Las Vegas history. This resort promises incredible luxury amenities while paying homage to Las Vegas’ history with its vintage glamour style and “old-school hospitality.” Furthermore, the resort will feature Vegas Vickie, one of the most iconic neon signs from the Strip, displayed prominently in the lobby.
Luxurious Accommodations
The resort features 777 rooms in a uniquely tapered, 71-degree tower created by Steelman Partners and Circa’s Director of Design and Architecture, Alice O’Keefe. Each room is designed with a minimal yet distinctly vintage Vegas aesthetic, offering a variety of options including standard rooms, bunk-bed rooms, and spacious suites—some of which come equipped with dining tables and in-room wet bars.
A Unique Gaming Experience
While guests enjoy comfort in their stylish rooms, the resort boasts a plethora of entertaining options. The two-story casino is a gambler’s paradise, while Circa houses the world’s largest sportsbook, featuring a three-story stadium equipped with a 78-million-pixel high-definition screen.
Stadium Swim: The Ultimate Pool Experience
Circa Resort & Casino introduces a remarkable pool amphitheater known as Stadium Swim. All year round, guests can catch the biggest games and major televised events broadcasted on a magnificent 14-million-pixel screen while enjoying Circa’s six temperature-controlled pools and two spas. Additionally, guests have the option to relax in a cabana, chaise lounges, or poolside boxes available for rent.
Local artists will take charge of the pool’s DJ booth, and two swim-up bars will enhance the experience. Poolside food menus, curated by renowned Michigan restaurateurs, will feature delightful offerings such as lobster corn dogs, fruit nachos, and more.
Unique Dining Options
In addition to Stadium Swim, Circa will offer a variety of dining experiences, including:
- Saginaw’s Delicatessen (a family-style deli)
- Victory Burger & Wings Co.
- Barry’s Downtown Prime (a high-end steakhouse)
- Project BBQ (a local Carolina-style barbecue food truck)
Opening Updates and Future Expectations
Originally scheduled to open in December 2020, the resort has announced it will open its first five floors and parking garage to guests as soon as October 28, 2020. CEO and developer Derek Stevens shared, “Sometimes life throws you curveballs, and 2020 has been an unpredictable year for the entire world. However, thanks to the creativity and ingenuity from our partners at McCarthy Building Companies Inc. and Tré Builders, we can move forward on this accelerated path and have an opening unlike Las Vegas has experienced.”
It’s important to note that all guests must be over 21 to enjoy this exclusive resort.
