iBestTravel READERS’ CHOICE AWARDS 2022

Voting is now open and closes on Thursday 30 June – results will be published on Tuesday 4 October.

Every year for the past 25 years, we’ve asked you to nominate your favourite hotels, islands, cities, spas, villas, tour operators, and much more right across the world. This year, after two of the most challenging years for the travel industry, your vote counts more than ever. Showing your personal support for the hotel where you have cherished memories or the city where you enjoyed the happiest holiday is a powerful way to express your appreciation for the destinations you love.

The Readers’ Choice Awards are the pinnacle of recognition in the travel industry, celebrating the ultimate destinations, service providers, and experiences across the globe—from remote wilderness retreats to urban hotels. Moreover, your opinion truly matters. Show your support by voting for the places and businesses big and small that require it now more than ever.

Formerly known as the Readers’ Travel Awards, this event has been celebrated in the UK since 1998. For the fourth consecutive year, we are partnering with our US counterpart, Condé Nast Traveler, for an exciting transatlantic collaboration. Readers can nominate their favourite British city, hotel, and tour operator. Nominations are evaluated based on various criteria, including service, cuisine, and overall atmosphere.

All participants in the survey can enter the special Readers’ Choice Awards 2022 competition. The grand UK prize is an incredible trip to South Africa, valued at £20,000. This includes three nights of full-board safari at Kruger’s Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve and three nights at Grootbos Private Nature Reserve on the stunning coast. Additionally, the prize includes two return flights from London, organized by Qatar Airways, and a variety of enriching experiences such as safari excursions, horse riding, whale-watching, a river cruise, and much more.
